When passion turns into a profession... Allow me to share a few words about myself.
My name is Patrycja, and I am a self-taught Polish photographer driven by passion. Born in 1975, I left Poland in 1999 to embark on a hitchhiking journey across Europe. After a long adventure, I chose to settle on the beautiful French Riviera, the Côte d’Azur.
My journey with photography began many years ago when I was just a 10-year-old girl. It was during that time that I developed my first film photos at night with my father, letting them dry on the kitchen wall tiles. It was a captivating and memorable experience.
In 2008, I rekindled my passion for photography. Inspired by the Royal Regattas of Cannes, I decided to capture them through my lens. This led to me winning the 3rd place in a photo contest organized by the Yacht Club de Cannes, with the theme "Sailors of Regattas."
Subsequently, I had the opportunity to exhibit some of my photos in Cannes, including at the Espace Miramar on the Croisette and at the Yacht Club de Cannes.
My wandering spirit also led me to travel through various parts of the world, including Asia, Central America, and Africa, for several months. These journeys provided me with the chance to explore diverse cultures and make unforgettable connections with local residents and fellow travelers from around the globe.
Photography has evolved into much more than a passion for me; it has become a true calling, and I am delighted to share it with you.
And suddenly, I found myself faced with a subject that fascinated me, drew me in, and became a true challenge for me... The Human and their PORTRAIT.
Since 2011, I have worked as a professional photographer, capturing precious moments during weeks of photo shoots in the South of France and the French Alps.
Over time, I discovered that portrait photography is primarily an interaction, a deep connection that forms between the subject and the photographer. It's a kind of indescribable magic that happens.
And it turns out that I love creating this magic...
Since 2017, I have been on a quest to find the perfect frames to enhance my images, which is why I decided to craft my own wooden frames.
I invite you to visit my website www.decoimage.fr to explore my world, where you'll find the perfect frames for your images and interiors. Let yourself be carried away by the magic of photography and the art of framing.
And today, to top it all off, I am also a contented mother, cherishing a wonderful little son.
